Bond Set At $1 Million For Accused Meth Dealer

The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office reports its Crime Reduction Unit, Narcotics Division and NCSBI agents concluded an “extensive drug investigation” on May 16th.  The investigation led to the arrest of Kevin D. Smith at a home on Smith Grady Road in Deep Run.  Smith was charged with six counts of Trafficking Methamphetamine, two counts of Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Methamphetamine, and two counts of Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substances.  Smith was held at the Lenoir County Jail under a $1 million secured bond.
